Ukraine’s largest shelter for children, women and animals.
We are a Ukrainian charity that offers social services, shelter, and compassionate care to women and children in need. Our safe haven supports victims of domestic violence, those at risk of homelessness or poverty, or any child or woman who needs help with reintegration back into society. Our mission is to keep children with their mothers and offer hope and support to those facing hardship.
More than 8,000 children rescued from social orphanhoodx
Provided care to more than 5,000 women in need
More than 2.5 hectares of land
Operate 6 buildings with a capacity for 400 residents
Currently home to over 300 women and children
Rescued 35 dogs
We are charity-based, not funded by the government, and completely supported by charitable donations. We currently have more than 300 residents and 35 animals living with us on an unstable budget in a war-ridden country. We spend hundreds of thousands of hryvnias per month caring for and tending to our residents, and we cannot afford to keep going without donations.
The City of Goodness Medical Center needs your support!
House of Butterflies, our medical centre, provides vital rehabilitation, round-the-clock medical care and palliative care for critically ill children. We desperately need help to purchase equipment, medicine, and the funds to pay our medical staff and caretakers. We take in children who have been forced to evacuate because of the war, those whose single mothers have given up in despair, and those lacking medical care.
Please support our House of Butterflies — Ukrainian children desperately need comprehensive 24/7 medical care.
The City of Goodness provides families navigating domestic violence with more than just temporary protection and shelter. Our organisation offers services and support to women and their children to help them thrive and have an independent, fulfilling life.
