The biggest shelter in Ukraine for children, mothers, elderly women and dogs.
City of Goodness is a Ukrainian charity project that serves as a large complex offering social services and shelter to mothers with children facing challenging life circumstances. We help individuals who have experienced domestic violence, are at risk of ending up on the street, or need support with socialization and reintegration. We also help those who find themselves living below the poverty line and require assistance. We work to keep children in their families.
More than 8 thousand children rescued from social orphanhood
Helped over 5 thousand women
More than 2.5 hectares of the shelter area
6 buildings — where 400 people can live
More than 300 people are now living in the shelter
35 dogs in our shelter Khvostyky
The City of Goodness is not funded by the government, all funds come from donations. Currently, nearly three hundred people and about 35 animals are living with us at the same time, so we are talking about hundreds of thousands of hryvnias in expenses each month. Our budget is very unstable.
The City of Goodness Medical Center needs your support!
We have created our own medical center for rehabilitation, round-the-clock medical care and palliative care for seriously ill children. We are in desperate need of help to purchase equipment, medicines and paying medical staff and nannies. We assist children who have been forced to evacuate because of the war, those whose single mothers have given up in despair, and those who lack medical care.
Please support our medical center — Ukrainian children desperately need such a place of comprehensive 24/7 medical care.
The City of Goodness provides abused women with more than just situational protection and shelter. In the city, based on the specific needs of each woman, they are offered an individualized resocialization program and prepared for an independent, fulfilling life.
