War! SOS! We need help!
There is a war in Ukraine. On February 24, the Russian army launched a military offensive against our country. Dozens of Ukrainian cities and towns are bombing and shelling with all kinds of weapons. Shells hit children’s hospitals, kindergartens, schools, homes. Peaceful people are hiding in basements, subways, and bomb shelters.
Our Foundation cannot and will not stand aside.We now accept women with children and the elderly from all over the country at our center. The capacity of our building has already been surpassed, but people keep coming and we can’t reject them. We accept families with pets without any restrictions, settle them, feed them, give them medical care and try to make this time a little less traumatic for the little ones.
That’s why we URGENTLY need your help and support! At an emergency pace, we are completing the construction of the second building of the center, which will allow us to accommodate another 100 people. This requires funds and building materials. There is also a constant need for food, medicine, hygiene items, bedding, blankets, pillows, baby food, and clothing.
In addition, the Foundation supports children’s hospitals and poor families across the country. Thousands of children with difficult diagnoses were left alone with their plight during wartime. City of Goodness is a charity nationwide project that will become a large social service and shelter for the poorest families, with the goal to keep a child in the family.
The main feature of Cities of Goodness is a baby with mom!
In the City of Goodness, we will fight for every mom for a child. Homeless mothers, mothers from orphanages, mothers crushed by domestic violence and indifference will find shelter and support there. Each mother will receive an individual plan for her personal growth, with plans for future education and gaining a profession. The required duration of stay in the City will be determined in accordance with the tasks and goals set.

HOW DO WE BUILD A CITY GOODNESS?
For almost a year now, there has been a project that has become the basis of the idea of creating a City of Goodness – the Center of Kindness “Martha’s Dream” in Chernivtsi.100 mothers have already found support there: orphans, homeless, outcasts, and victims of domestic violence. The graduates of the center now have a profession, a job can rent proper apartments on their own. They have overcome the crisis and are now helping other women cope with distress. Their 230 children have been rescued from orphanages, many of them are children with disabilities.

006 which is provided by our benefactors. In the presence of their own home, these funds would cover the maintenance of the home with utility bills and food, and most importantly, would allow them to take care of children and create a free rehabilitation center. Owning a home would be a guarantee that tomorrow moms with children will not find themselves on the street because of the decision of the homeowner to sell it or rent it to others. Having its home foundation will be able to receive the long-awaited grant from Luxembourg, which will provide the City of Goodness with all the necessary equipment. This grant, like dozens of others, can only be granted on condition of ownership of the property, not rent.
We managed to buy unfinished construction and land, thanks to the support of those who care, we raised for this 55,000 USD. So now construction is underway, which requires considerable funds. After all the work we want to see the three buildings of the City of Good, with a total area of 1500 square meters. We are looking for architects, superintendents, owners of construction companies, plumbers, furniture manufacturers to get involved in the project implementation! All help is important to us!
The City of Goodness will not be funded by the state, it exists only because of the indifferent people who are concerned with the lives of disadvantaged children!
In this City, anyone can be a missionary of kindness, caring for children. The names of philanthropists who will help in the acquisition, construction, arrangement of the area of charity The City of Goodness will forever remain on the front wall, where brick by brick the names of people with a sincere and kind heart will be embedded!
HOW TO GET TO US?
Whom we accept:
- Women with children who suffer from domestic abuse;
- Women with children who live on the streets and have no shelter;
- Women who are on the verge of deprivation of parental rights due to inadequate care, homelessness, poverty, or illiteracy;
- Women with children who have problems with documents and because of this cannot find a job and housing;
- Women with children from all regions of Ukraine and citizens of other countries who need help in Ukraine;
- Old single ladies who have nowhere to live or suffer from domestic abuse;
The center accepts women and children of all faiths. Center is adapted for people with different types of physical disabilities.
To be admitted to the center you need:
- Preliminary agreement with the center by phone or e-mail;
- Fluorography;
- Analysis for Torch infection;
The City of Goodness has 27 living rooms and can accommodate 80 people. The center is equipped with everything necessary for the accommodation of children of different ages. Families living in the center are provided with essentials, hygiene products, and food.
Staying in the Center is absolutely FREE.
The City of Goodness is not just a shelter and a place to live, it is a comprehensive program of women’s socialization. Our ultimate goal is a woman who can provide for herself and her children, independent and self-sufficient.
For this we provide our wards:
- psychological help;
- legal assistance;
- medical care;
- pedagogical assistance;
- we teach to run a house;
- we teach to take care of the child;
- we help to get an education and a job.
The development program is personalized and is based solely on the desires and potential of the woman herself. During the rehabilitation of the family, we will keep in touch with the social worker who referred the family to the center and will inform him about the family’s progress, condition, and situation.
Every woman who comes to us must be ready to work on their development, education, and, if necessary, to obtain a profession.
